Nollywood star Regina Daniels has publicly accused her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, instigating domestic violence, a claim that has ignited widespread public concern.
A video that recently went viral shows the actress visibly distraught, stating: “In Ned Nwoko’s house I am nothing. In my house I am a queen. I cannot stand the violence again, it’s too much.”
The footage is timestamped October 2025 and was shared via multiple social media channels, sparking immediate reactions from fans and human rights advocates.
Her brother, Sammy West, escalated the allegations by posting on Instagram that Daniels’ head was allegedly smashed against a wall during a violent altercation.
He vowed to defend her and criticized Nwoko’s behaviour publicly.
As of now, Senator Nwoko has not issued a public response to the claims, and his representatives could not be reached.
The couple, who married in 2019 and share two children, had recently revealed they were expecting a third child earlier this year, marking the current allegations as a significant development in their high-profile relationship.
The video has sparked sharp reactions on X. One user, Kyngsteve Umapia @iam_kyngsteve, said “This is exactly why many of us never supported Regina Daniels’ marriage to Ned Nwoko. It was never about age or status, it was about the message it sent. Glorifying wealth over wisdom, status over self-worth, turned marriage into a transaction.
“Young girls watched and learned that money matters more than values, that comfort outweighs compatibility. Now, the consequences are public and painful. Let this be a wake-up call: no amount of luxury can replace peace, love, and mutual respect. We must start teaching our girls to value themselves first, not just a wealthy lifestyle.”
Another X user, Akinomoakin @AkinmoluSeye, said “Concern”? When she was enjoying the money, did she call me?”
