The TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Morocco 2025 semi-final line-up has been confirmed after an action-packed and fiercely contested quarter-final stage.

Egypt, Nigeria, Morocco and Senegal booked their places in the last four following a series of high-intensity matches that concluded on Saturday night, setting the stage for two blockbuster semi-final fixtures.

Tournament hosts Morocco will face Nigeria at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, while Senegal will square off against Egypt at the Grand Stade de Tanger. Both AFCON 2025 semi-final matches are scheduled for Wednesday.

Seven-time African champions Egypt secured the final semi-final spot with a dramatic 3-2 win over defending champions Cote d’Ivoire, bringing the Elephants’ title defence to an end and setting up a highly anticipated clash with Senegal.

Nigeria completed the AFCON 2025 semi-final line-up with a solid 2-0 win against Algeria in Marrakech. Victor Osimhen opened the scoring before Akor Adams sealed the result late on, setting up a mouthwatering semi-final showdown with the host nation.
